Bulk Renamer for Google Drive™ (the App) is a free app created by Azadi Saryev and provided at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is intended to inform the users of Bulk Renamer for Google Drive™ app regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information.
General Privacy Statement
Bulk Renamer for Google Drive™ app does not collect any personal information beyond that necessary to ensure the app’s functionality. The App does not store any personal information you provide to the App. Any Personal Information that the App requests is used for providing and improving its functionality only. The App and its developer will never use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
The App’s use of information received from Google and Google Drive APIs will adhere to Google’s Limited Use Requirements.
Information Collection and Use
For a better experience while using the App, Bulk Renamer for Google Drive™ may require you to provide certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your email address, name, language preference and profile picture. The information that Bulk Renamer for Google Drive™ requests is used for authentication puposes only and is not collected or stored by the App in any way or form.
The App utilizes Google services to host the app and provide integration with Google Drive that may collect information used to identify you, in line with applicable Google’s privacy and information collection policies. But since you are using a Google account already, you are obvously fine with that.
Bulk Renamer for Google Drive™ may utilize Google Analytics services to assist in analyzing how the App is used. Anonymous usage metrics may be collected by the service when you use the App. No personally identifiable information is collected by the App in relation to this service.
App Permissions
Bulk Renamer for Google Drive™ requires following permissions:
- View your email address: standard permission allowing you to authenticate to the App with your Google account;
- See, edit, create, and delete all of your Google Drive files: required permission to be able to change names of files in your Google Drive. Bulk Renamer for Google Drive™ only reads and modifies names and last modified dates of the files in your Google Drive you select; the App does not access or read the contents of the files.
Additional Limits on Use of Your Google User Data
Notwithstanding anything else in this Privacy Policy, if you provide the App access to the following types of your Google data, the App’s use of that data will be subject to these additional restrictions:
- The App will only use access to read and modify selected files in your Google Drive and their metadata to provide a web-based service that allows users to rename files in their Google Drive in bulk.
- The App will only read and modify name and last modified date data of the files you select, and only while you are using the App.
- The App will not save or store this data in any way or form.
- The App will not use this Drive data for serving advertisements.
- The App will not allow humans to read this data or access it in any other way.
Cookies
Bulk Renamer for Google Drive™ does not use any cookies explicitly beyond Google Analytics anonymous app usage tracking cookies. The App does use Google services that may use cookies to collect information for the purposes of authentication and to improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies, and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse such cookies, you may not be able to use the App to its full extent.
Children’s Privacy
Bulk Renamer for Google Drive™ does not address anyone under the age of 13, and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Since the App requires you to authenticate with your Google Account, it is assumed that you are of legal age to have a Google Account, as per your local laws and regulations.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately, after they are posted on this page.
